2/9/2024 0 Comments R killing floor 2![]() ![]() ![]() like i dont know if i am making a big deal out of it but it just really feels like a cheap way to get people killed and ruin their experience. Now i would be fine if this only happened once or twice maybe due to me not being very experienced the game or staying for too long in an area, but i was playing on suicidal in prison and ever since wave 3 i was running in a big circle around the map basically nonstop cuz it was the most effective way to not let the map spawn shit right behind my back and get me killed.(on average i circled the map 2-3 times every fuken wave to not die while slowly clearing ZEDs)Īt this point the game just started to look really poorly designed with how it treats spawn times and locations in solo play due to not having other players who kinda prevent the game from teleport spawning ZEDs behind your back.Īnd when I ended up dying in wave 8 when there were only 12 ZEDs left 2 of which were scrakes who were the only things in front of me at that point so i decide to try and kill one of them only to have a crawler legit spawn 1 foot behind my back when i was at a doorway to fuk me over, i just felt cheated as hell. Step 1: NucleusFirst things first, you need the latest version of Nucleus Co-op and the latest version of the script. Try keeping at least two different weapons on you, so you can switch them depending on the situation and have enough ammo for the wave. I've come to believe the floor can't be killed at all, and I have more fun killing zeds instead. I've lost countless hours trying to, in vain. ![]() Gameplay is minimally affected, if at all. The goal of the game is not to actually kill the floor. It seems as if every time i make sure my back is clear and attempt to take down some of the enemies that are sprinting after me, i kid you not the moment i turn my back i get hit, only to look at my back side again and find 3 crawlers, a clot and a couple stalkers clawing me. Doing endless on the highest difficulty you can manage is the quickest way, once you finish the 5th wave (boss wave) quit out the game, repeat until done, not much fun but it gets the job done, also a nice way to go through all the maps quickly to figure out which ones you like if you’re a new player. Killing Floor 2 has some odd scaling in the menus at non-supported resolutions. This console command will only work on the machine running the server. Maybe have a different game mode for the robots or do it as a weekly event thing but they have no place in the regular game. I however discovered how unbearably annoying it is to try and solo maps on higher difficulties. It ruins the flow of the game, they have too much health/armor, and it doesnt make sense to have them in here when all the other enemies are flesh cloned enemies. If they want to learn, depending on their level they should probably just try hard mode and see where things go from there instead of playing the hardest difficulty off the get-go.So i started playing KF2 recently and got my first perk "gunslinger" to level 25 and i have to say i am enjoying the game alot. HOE and Suicidal are made to be difficult and require a sufficient amount of game sense and knowledge of how enemies react and how to make a good build, and new players just lack this experience. I've seen level 5 sharpshooters use the riot shield and field medics using support weapons. If they committed to the game and could make it even 30 or 40% through the wave I'd totally be happy finishing it off, but at that level it's pretty much impossible to actually contribute that much when you have nothing unlocked. I haven't seen a single new player survive more than 10 enemies in by the way, and at that point all you're learning is what each button does in spectate mode. It's effectively throwing the game for everyone else. I'm all for helping new players through games and have done a lot of coaching for this game and others as well, but it's frustrating when you're trying to complete a level, a brand new player joins, you give them a huge amount of dosh, and then they die and leave 4 enemies in. Eh, I think im exaggerating a little, but it really does take at least 10 minutes, guaranteed. 20min is definetely something wrong, at first delete game and download again. If you first install a co op game like this and immediately choose the hardest difficulty with no prior game knowledge you're kind of a selfish ass. Killing floor, also Depth is loading 30s to minute, one of the longest loading of my games. The game itself literally says that HOE is "The most intense challenge for players of perk rank 25." It also gives very accurate recommended levels for the other 3 difficulties as well.
